The school collective is a free web-based application that enables teachers to store, organize, and share educational material with their students and other teachers nationwide. Their vision is a nationwide community of schools collaborating to develop teachers and ultimately the next generation of critical thinkers. Their mission is to partner with teachers, schools, and organizations to enhance the work they are doing to foster teacher talent and improve student achievement.

How does the Career Equity Resource Center use the school collective?

• The school collective train teachers and participants in the Regional Equity and Access Development Initiative (READI)
• The school collective provides technical support to CERC staff and READI participants
• Create discussions with READI school cohorts
• Post resources specific to READI school needs
• Upload best practices from their schools
• Receive feedback on reports/plans from our CERC Staff
• Create lesson plans aligned to state and national standards
